Precaria - Nigraluminiscencia

Precaria - Nigraluminiscencia

PRECARIA's "Nigraluminiscencia" reunites on one single vinyl all the band's tracks from a diptych of split albums (2018's "Metamorphosphoros", with Deathspiral of Inherited Suffering and Dominus Ira, and 2020's "Theosulphuros", released in parallel and featuring Ôros Kaù) centered around the concept of Theion, the divine fire of transformation.

Divide into two parts - the first one chaotic and annihilating, while the second more inclined to obscure melodies - "Nigraluminiscencia" investigates the idea of fire as beginning and end of all things; an alchemical "luminescent darkness" that enlightens the spirit sunk into hellish depths.

Precaria - Theosulphuros music production finished

Theosulphuros, painting by Ikonostasis

After years of working on it, I can announce that Theosulphuros has been finished and will be released by the end of the year 2020 via I, Voidhanger Records.

This is a follow-up to Metamorphosphoros. Precaria songs in both releases should be considered as part 1 and part 2 of a whole.

Theosulphuros is a dark conceptual work that focuses on spiritual ascension and descension both during life and after death. Exploring the idea of god as the chaotic void or source of darkness beyond dimensions, yet omnipresent, and devoting one's life to spread this darkness in the world and ultimately self-sacrifice upon reaching the goal.

2. Ex Nigredo

Precaria Ex Humanitas & Metamorphosphoros

Precaria Ex Humanitas & Metamorphosphoros CDs

Precaria's debut magnum opus and the conceptual split album Metamorphosphoros have been well received by the international underground. Despite being released 4 years apart from each other, the devotees have stayed loyal and supportive. It is appreciated and personally fulfilling to know that the fires of chaos are spreading via this vessel that is Precaria.

There will be a sequel to Metamorphosphoros, called Theosulphuros (an esoteric take on the fusion between the Theos and the Sulphur). Presented in the same 3-way split format, same main artwork artist (Ikonostasis), same label (I, Voidhanger Records) and a continuation of the Theion concept within the depths of it's lyrics. This will be ready by the end of 2018 or the beginning of 2019.
