Qliphomantia (Ritualistic Black/Death Metal Project)
Last year (2015) I lost my live members for Precaria one of them due to a -private- life reason and the other due to his lack of commitment and didn't reunite what the band demands. This led me to an undesired lapse of silence in which there wasn't much online communications nor live activity.
I've been composing a lot material for the next albums of Precaria, the list of pending releases is only growing and growing. I've been forced to filter my compositions and categorize them differently -as I'm delving deeper on the black arts of Death-, the energy remains evil as always and very black but Precaria works better with very dynamic structures and a concept of aversion towards the White Light of the Demiurge and it's prime reflection which is Mankind-. I'm on the need to channel the other part of the energy, which demands more freedom in the compositions' structures and holds a concept that revolves mainly around Death itself, not only on it's chthonic form, but also on it's cosmic/anti-cosmic form, the omnipotent dark force by which everything cycles.
Rather than an "Attack from the internal to the external", as Precaria is, this is more like an "Embrace to Death from the inside to the innermost", therefore, I've been slowly breeding this project called Qliphomantia, which doesn't limit itself to sound like black metal. Of course it sounds black, but it also crosses the borders to death, doom, atmospheric and experimental territories. It could be considered a horrific experience to any outsiders who might stumble upon it's deathly aura. While I'm Hermit Ov Tehom with Precaria, I'm Qliphos with Qliphomantia.
As time has passed I doubt more and more that I'd do anything else with my old project Desesperanza due to my views not being the same as those I had near a decade ago which fueled it's essence. Qliphomantia has been taken with my hand while I hold Precaria with the other hand and Desesperanza is just hanging on my back. This has been a period of cultivation for the mind, soul and beyond allowing me to experience an externalization of ideas like never before. It is only a matter of time until
Qliphomantia reveals it's glory. For now, I shall continue the harvesting on my isolated path, in the shadows.
